今年的西洋樂壇可說是熱鬧非凡，不僅有天王天后的熱賣新作，更有超狂新生代新星崛起，讓本次的葛萊美獎入圍競爭更具看點。在台灣20日晚間第62屆葛萊美入圍名單終於揭曉，綜括來說今年可以說是新人當道，重大獎項入圍均由新人包辦，尤其是自1959年以來，葛萊美的四大重點獎項(年度專輯、年度錄音、年度歌曲、年度新人)只有12位歌手能夠一次全部囊括入圍，但是本屆就有兩位超強新人開外掛全部拿下大四喜，那就是今年爆紅全球的最強新人怪奇比莉(Billie Eilish)及本次葛萊美拿下八項最多入圍的新人女歌手Lizzo。
